37. There are more "dinosaur species" in Alberta than any other place in North America. The most famous of these is the "Alberta" dinosaur. This creature was discovered in a fossil state by a farmer named "Les Parrott" in 1912. The original bones were sent to the "Canadian Museum of Nature" where they were studied thoroughly. In the late 1970's a farmer found a number of bones on his land. It took a long time to properly identify these as "dinosaur" bones, but in 1997 scientists finally realized what they had found. The "Alberta" dinosaur is a herbivore, and probably lived during the "Cme Jurassic Period" about 150 million years ago. It was about six metres long and three metres tall. It weighed about eight tonnes.

38. The province of Alberta is the fifth largest in North America.

39. The province of Alberta has the largest "Grain Elevator" in the world. The elevator is located in "Fort Saskatchewan" and can hold about 3.5 million tonnes of " Grain". That's more than twice the weight of the Empire State Building!
